Course outcome

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business, equipping you with industry-relevant skills to thrive in business environments. Where a learner does not satisfactorily complete the full qualification, a statement of attainment will be issued for those units where they have been deemed competent.

Delivery

This course will run one day a week for 20 weeks via classroom-based face-to-face learning. Our supportive and engaging environment ensures that students develop both the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to succeed in business.

Students will be expected to complete additional study at home, and work may be required between classes to complete the assessments.

Assessment

Assessments are made against units of competency from BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. For this course, assessment will entail the following:

  • The assessments will validate underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes.
  • A range of assessment strategies will be selected to meet different learner needs. Assessment methods include written, oral and practical tasks and assessments. You will be informed when assessments are to take place.

Pre-requisites

An appropriate level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills is required to enrol in this course.

As part of our pre-enrolment process, all prospective students complete a Reading, Writing, and Math Evaluation. This helps us see you have the foundation skills needed for success in the course, and it also lets us find any area where you may need extra support.
