RECOGNITION PATHWAYS

Tamworth Community College offers students recognition pathways for accredited training via our practical and supportive recognition processes. Our experienced training team can recommend the recognition pathway to match the unique skills and knowledge you’ve gained from work and life experience. Recognition pathways include:

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

The RPL process recognises and assesses student’s skills, knowledge, experience and training (informal and formal) against the requirements within an accredited course or training package.  You’ll be required to supply evidence to support your RPL application; this can include job descriptions, work samples and employment history.

Recognition of Current Competency (RCC)

The RCC process recognises students who have previously completed the requirements for a unit of competency and are required to be reassessed to ensure the competency requirements are being maintained and are current.

Credit Transfer (CT)

The CT process recognises and accepts units of competency previously completed by students, enabling students to receive national recognition of qualifications and statements of attainment.
